I visited Bugbrooke and Grendon yesterday for a briefing meeting specifically with the Environment Agency (EA) in light of the awful flooding we have seen in the last few months.
In Bugbrooke, I am aware the EA are going to arrange to meet with residents and I hope to join as they ascertain exactly what happened and what measures can be taken in the future.
In Grendon, it was good to be joined by mmembers of the parish council and Cllr John-Paul Carr to understand the latest position and hear developments since the public meeting.
Flooding is devastating and I am challenging all stakeholders involved to put measures in place that prevent something like this from happening again.
