It was good to meet with the National Highways Regional Director for the Midlands, Victoria Lazenby, last week to discuss the Towcester Relief Road and the DHL Planning Application.
The technical designs for the A43 roundabout have now been approved. I will be meeting with Persimmon soon to urge action – the delivery of this road cannot come soon enough.
I was disappointed by National Highways’ decision to drop their objection to the DHL Planning Application, which I believe to be wholly inappropriate for Towcester. I intend to speak at the upcoming Strategic Planning Committee hearing on 10th September and will provide a fuller update to residents in due course.
